Winter in Nendaz
Nendaz is one of the best kept secrets in the Alps. It lies at the centre of the Verbier - Mont Fort 4Valley area and is one of only seven ski areas worldwide to hold 5 stars of excellence.
Its territory extends from the plain of the river Rhone right up to snowy peaks at 3'330m (10'000 ft). The resort is situated on a plateau at 1'350 m (4'400 ft), and offers a panoramic view of the Bernese and Vaud Alps.
The village is charming and presents everything you would imagine a real Swiss mountain village to be. You will find a selection of local shops, bars and restaurants, along with some of the friendliest locals you could hope to meet.
Unlike many resorts Nendaz is alive all year round and in winter hosts various world cup snowboarding as well as ski races. It really is the ideal adult and family playground.

New to Nendaz is the BURTON Progression Park! Freestyle skiing or snowboarding is at last open to all. Another snow park with half-pipe is on the Mont-Fort.
Beginner skiers or snowboarders will find that this is a perfect area where style and confidence can be improved to the max.
- For children... Nendaz rolls out the white carpet. Tracouet is the ideal site to have the first experience of snow. A snow garden, a lovely ski school and numerous activities for many moments of pleasure is all waiting to be discovered by you and your little loved ones.
Nendaz offers winter walks ideal with pushchairs.
- Non skier... Furthermore, Nendaz has 98 km of marked walking trails which let you discover the beauty of the snow-covered landscape and its unique panorama. All can also be explored by dog-sled, on snow shoes, or by cross-country skiing. Nendaz also offers Pushchair accessible walks.
